AMADA Astro 100NT is a high production CNC machine tool designed for precision engineering applications. It was designed with reliability and flexibility in mind, with a heavy cast iron base that ensures stability during operation. Astro 100NT features a large work envelope, with travels up to 2600 x 1250 x 610mm in X, Y and Z directions, respectively. A high power spindle motor of up to 24.5kW provides plenty of power for high speed machining and drilling. An absolute encoder system enables precise positioning in all 3 axes, while a tool magazine of up to 160 tools ensures extensive capability. The CNC control on AMADA Astro 100NT allows for advanced 3D contouring and machining. It contains a fully conversational control system for all CNC operations, with the ability for high-speed threading and cornering. Programs can be stored in the control's memory, allowing for quick recall, while G-code can be used for direct machine control. Advanced probing systems allow for the rapid measurement of parts during cutting, ensuring accuracy and enhanced productivity. The control is also compatible with Tool Setting Verification for high accuracy machining. An automation system is available for Astro 100NT, allowing for multiple high-precision parts to be processed in one run. Additionally, a sanding attachment and a deburring machine can both be supplied with AMADA Astro 100NT.
