DECKEL / MAHO FP 6 NC is a 5-axis CNC controlled platform machining center for producing complex components with exacting tolerance standards. This type of high-precision machine tool has superior cutting performance and a smaller footprint than conventional 3-axis machining centers. It is suitable for the machining of difficult-to-handle materials such as composites, titanium, and high-strength steel alloys. MAHO FP 6 NC features a high-torque main spindle, a sliding head, and a full contouring control equipment. The machine is powered by a 3-axis high-speed direct drive system with a solid one-piece machine bed. This combination enables increased cutting accuracy and higher speed in the performance of the CNC machining tasks. The main spindle is driven by a powerful motor with a peak torque of 19 Nm and a maximum rpm of 15,000. The machine has a 0.001 mm repeatability in linear axes, and can be used for the machining of components with diameters of up to 150 mm. DECKEL FP 6 NC's integrated control unit offers intuitive user operation with easy-to-set parameters for the most challenging tasks. This machine also comes with an ergonomic working envelope for comfortable and efficient use. It is equipped with dynamically optimized inertial damping as well as advanced cooling and lubrication systems for superior performance and productivity. FP 6 NC includes an adjustable workpiece table with full clamping range (50-500mm). It is designed with a powerful cooling machine to ensure consistent machining accuracy as well as longevity in the operation. The enclosed operating area includes a universal tool magazine that can accommodate up to 36 tools with lengths of up to 450 mm. This machine is an ideal choice for applications such as 3D surface machining, contouring operations, high-precision milling of complex shapes and engineering components, and more. Four- and five-axis CNC programs can be conveniently written with this cutting-edge technology for a wide variety of workpiece shapes, sizes, and materials.
