HAAS VF-3 is a vertical machining center designed for high-speed production of complex three-dimensional parts in aluminum, steel, stainless steel, hardened metals, and other materials. It features an impressive 39.5" x 20" x 25" work envelope, allowing for the machining of larger parts than the typical machining center. As well, both a 10,000 or 12,000 RPM spindle option are available, allowing for high-speed machining. The machine features a 40 Taper Vector Drive spindle motor for reliable high- speed cutting and high torque capability. The spindle offers an impressive 20 hp of cutting power, providing optimal performance for demanding materials and operations. The spindle also features thermally secure bearings for maximum bearing life and superior accuracy. The machine's high speed, enhanced rigidity, and contouring capabilities make it ideal for a variety of operations, including contouring, pocketing, and 3+2 positioning.
