MAZAK AJV 25/404 is a CNC-equipped, multi-purposed machine tool designed for high speed milling, drilling and general purpose machining operations. It has a large working envelope with a brushless AC servo motor, direct-drive spindle and linear guiding system for superior accuracy. MAZAK AJV 25/404 has a rigid MAZAK BASE Plus Slant bed structure supported by a high-rigidity cast iron construction. This ensures optimal vibration dampening during operations and outstanding accuracy even over long working cycles. The machine is also fitted with a high-precision spindle driven by a brushless AC servo motor at speeds up to 12,000 RPM. It also has a high-torque spindle motor to ensure good surface finish even when cutting heavier materials. The machine can accurately position along the X and Y axis at speeds up to 60m/min and handle up to 2500kg in weight. It also comes with a wide selection of tool holders, including HSK and BT to ensure a secure and repeatable engagement between the tool and spindle. There is an additional direct-drive C-axis spindle for high-precision 4-axis machining and with a Heidenhain iTNC 530 system, the machine can be used for 5-axis simultaneous machining. The machine is fitted with a Makino MSP-600A high-speed APC (automatic pallet changer). This allows the operator to perform unattended, multiple part runs with excellent speed, accuracy and repeatability.
