SHARP SV-2412 is a high-performance vertical machining center designed for precision metalcutting applications. It is designed for both heavy-duty machining and light metalcutting projects, making it extremely versatile. The machine is composed of a rigid resin-casted body, an XYZ axes mechanism, and a spindle unit. The XYZ axes mechanism provides smooth and precise drilling, milling, boring and reaming capabilities while the spindle unit delivers high torque and deep cuts. SV-2412 features an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a 32-tool capacity, allowing for the rapid use of multiple cutting tools during a single setup. The casted body houses a built-in control panel which is fully customizable to suit the user's needs. This control panel offers outstanding operations, including 3-axis programmable speeds and feed rates, manual jog modes and a convenient macro menu.
