BAUSCH & LOMB Microzoom II is a compound, upright, incident light, transmitted light, stereo microscope designed for industrial, educational, medical, and research applications. The microscope is capable of achieving magnifications between 6x and 160x. Microzoom II features an optical system consisting of two sets of achromatic objectives, 4x, 10x, 20x, and 40x. The optics produce a flat image field with excellent contrast and low aberrations and distortions, providing a full-field resolution of 0.32mm at 160x. To ensure accurate alignment, the optics include a unique anti-wobble mechanism and compensation adjusters. BAUSCH & LOMB Microzoom II utilizes infinity corrected optics and is equipped with a 10x widefield eyepieces. The eyepieces feature an adjustable light baffle that can be used to reduce internal reflections. The microscope also features coaxial coarse and fine focusing adjustment knobs for precise specimen manipulation. Microzoom II is equipped with LED illuminators for both incident and transmitted lighting purposes. The transmitted light illuminator offers both incident and transmitted illumination via an integrated cube turret, while the incident illuminator has variable incident illumination. The system is also equipped with dark field and polarized filters for specific imaging requirements. Complete with a ergonomically designed angle head, BAUSCH & LOMB Microzoom II offers a smooth operation for long hours of observation. An optional 110 or 220v power supply with an On/Off switch is included with every microscope purchase. With the addition of an optional plate camera adapter, the microscope can be used to capture digital images and video. Microzoom II has been designed to offer a superior level of image quality, making it suitable for industrial, educational, medical, and research applications.
