KRUSS DVT-10 is a computer-controlled, high-precision digital microscope. It is designed for a wide range of applications, including materials analysis, drug development, electronics engineering, and nanotechnology. The design is based on the principle of a miniaturized optical microscope equipped with an optically adjustable digital zoom. Built with a 6-axis robotic arm, the microscope is able to generate highly precise digital images in a fraction of the time of traditional microscope methods. The six-axis robotic arm consists of a stepper motor, a piezoelectric plate, and a touch panel screen for controlling zoom and axial positioning. DVT-10 features a 1.3-megapixel CCD image sensor, which is capable of capturing high resolution images with crisp detail at various magnifications. It is capable of displaying 10X up to 200X magnification. The microscope also supports a range of illumination techniques such as brightfield, darkfield, and graphite facet illumination. KRUSS DVT-10 has several advanced imaging capabilities such as phase contrast and DIC (Differential Interference Contrast) imaging. With phase contrast, fine details such as cellular structure can be easily detected. With DIC imaging, subtle differences in tissue can be clearly comapred. DVT-10 also has automated focussing capabilities. To improve precision tracking, it uses intelligent algorithms which can distinguish multiple objects in the field of view. The automated focussing helps in obtaining sharp images with the highest resolution at each magnification. KRUSS DVT-10 comes with a wide range of software and features, including an interactive user interface for controlling the functions of the microscope. The software comes with on-screen help functions and provides precise measurements of areas, sizes, and distances. The software also features automatic time lapse imaging and 3D reconstructions. To enhance the performance of DVT-10, additional accessories such as sample holders, mechanical stages, achromatic lenses, and a control computer are available. The microscopic images generated from KRUSS DVT-10 can be easily transferred to and from any browser allowing secure connection with any external servers.
