NIKON Eclipse TiE is a highly advanced compound microscopy equipment designed for scientific research applications. It is equipped with several features that make it one of the most sophisticated systems available. Built around an innovative, ultra-stable stage, the TiE offers a wide range of objective lenses - including Super Apochromatic, Achromatic, Plan Fluor, and CFI Plan Apo objectives - for imaging in brightfield, phase contrast, DIC, and other accessories. Specialized LED illuminators and an optically correctable digital camera system provide exceptionally clear images in both transmitted and reflected light applications. The TiE also features an ergonomic design that helps keep users comfortable throughout long observation sessions. The unit's wide, flexible stage adjustment offers a large 45° tilting range, providing ample lateral and vertical flexibility, and it can be adjusted manually or via the included automated motorized control by using the software provided. Lasers are also an integral part of the TiE. The machine has two laser ports and a selection of laser modules, which allow for precise sample preparation. Laser ablation allows for the removal of undesired material, increasing the contrast and providing an clean and smooth slide surface for best imaging results. By combining imaging lasers, such as an IR laser and a UV laser, with other laser tools including the included fluorescence filter wheel, researchers are able to obtain advanced imaging with fluorescence contrast. Finally, the TiE also offers a variety of accessories, selection of imaging software packages, and customizable configurations to meet the needs of any individual researcher. The tool can easily be adapted to a wide variety of applications, from multidisciplinary research to high-end imaging of cells and tissues.
