SONOSCAN / NORDSON Fastline P300 is a powerful desktop scanning electron microscope (SEM) designed specifically for the characterization of high resolution surface features. It has been used in many different fields, from the analysis of microcircuitry to the analysis of very small biological specimens. NORDSON Fastline P300 utilizes a high speed precision electrooptical (EO) motor for specimen raster scanning, and is outfitted with a variety of detectors and accessories to enable the easy collection of a variety of composition, electrical and topographical data. SONOSCAN Fastline P300 offers a field of view up to 200µm at a resolution of up to 1µm. Its reliable microscope stage allows for easy sample positioning, while its automated x, y and z axes allow for precise specimen positioning and imaging. Fastline P300 is designed to be compatible with a range of secondary electron (SE) detectors, providing high contrast imaging suitable for the analysis of feature sizes as small as 0.5µm. It is also capable of the collection of topographical scanning images, including forward and back scatter compositions, in order to inform the analysis of material structures. In addition to its imaging capabilities, SONOSCAN / NORDSON Fastline P300 is capable of the dust-free transfer of objects as small as 1mm in size in order to be used across different methods of sample preparation. Its vacuum system includes an automated pump interface, allowing for fast vacuum baking times with minimal sample manipulation. Its gas handling system allows for the introduction of a variety of gasses into the specimen chamber, enabling the analysis of a number of sample types. NORDSON Fastline P300 also features an automated stage, enabling fast offset calibrations of up to 8 settings each time the sample is loaded. SONOSCAN Fastline P300 is designed to be user friendly, with all aspects of specimen handling and analysis taking place in a single software interface. This flexible platform allows users to quickly and easily switch between different imaging parameters and specimen settings. Fastline P300 is ideal for a variety of research applications, offering the ability to streamline the imaging and processing of a wide range of materials.
