An acoustic-emission detector is used to detect acoustic energy emitted from the sample and surrounding environment. The instrument is also capable of collecting real-time thermal data with a dynamic range of up to 10kHz for the study of dynamic processes in biological samples. This thermometer data can be recorded and analyzed for deeper insight into the processes taking place within sample. Autoprobe M5 also features a visible-continuous lighting system designed to provide bright and even illumination of the entire sample area. A sample chamber is also included to ensure precise thermomicroscopic imaging.
