ZEISS Axio Imager is a premium microscope designed for various research and industrial applications. This Axio Imager series enables researchers to observe, measure and analyze a wide range of microscopic materials such as biological samples, factories' components, polymers or minerals. The microscope is a combination of both brightfield and fluorescence compared to the previous microscope generations. The unique optics system provides improved contrast in images as well as maximum resolution and precision. With proprietary ZEISS control and illumination systems, it makes possible to capture images of highest quality and clarity. ZEISS Axio Imager comes with a powerful digital camera, precise image quality and a powerful image analysis system. With the digital camera and an automated data acquisition, Axio Imager is able to accurately measure and analyze without the additional burden of manual manipulation of the sample. In addition, ZEISS Axio Imager helps to improve the accuracy in semi-automated quantitative methodologies. The microscope features precise motorized components such as X,Y,Z stage with a surface area ranging from 19cmx 15cm up to 30cmx30cm and has an extended range of objective magnification from 4x to 100x. For optimal imaging Axio Imager is equipped with Plan-Apochromat objectives which offer superior image quality and resolution at full field-of-view in both brightfield and fluorescence imaging. With a large numerical aperture of 0.7-1.3, it ensures rapid and precise imaging. The enhancements of ZEISS Axio Imager also includes LEDs, halogen and advanced PFS multi-band filter cube that supports 8 color fluorescence plus brightfield imaging. Furthermore, Axio Imager has image processing tools that allow the user to enhance the images and to perform analysis including 1D and 2D histograms, 3D surface renderings, live 3D views, thresholding, measurement of area, segmentation and classification. In conclusion, ZEISS Axio Imager offers users enhanced features in terms of superior optics, resolution, operational flexibility and integration of automation. All these features make Axio Imager a powerful tool for researchers and industrial workers to conduct research and explore various applications.
