ZEISS Axiotron II is an advanced compound microscope designed with enhanced features to make microscopic imaging easier and more efficient. Axiotron II features an ergonomic design and intuitive interface, allowing users to take advantage of the numerous features offered by the scope. A large, color-coded dial is located on the back of the scope to adjust the shaking speed, illumination intensity, and objective magnifications. When combined with the built-in LED powerpak, the unit has a maximum magnification of 1000X. ZEISS Axiotron II uses a side-illumination system with a variable aperture diaphragm and polarizer to give users total control over the illumination, allowing them to customize their imaging results. The unit includes a variable field lens that can be focused to produce a variety of imaging depths. Additionally, the device features an integrated video camera that allows users to capture digital images up to 17.5 megapixels using an optional digital camera. The scope incorporates a mechanical stage for specimen manipulation and X-Y measurement functions. The quick-change focus control knob can be used to rapidly scan samples without losing focus, making imaging quick and efficient. Axiotron II also has 6 episcopic ports for fluorescence observation and/or photomacrography. The illuminated reticle allows precise measurements to be made with millimeter accuracy. ZEISS Axiotron II has a rugged, lightweight design and comes with a dust-proof sealing that permits use in harsh environments. The unit includes a built-in power supply and a replaceable lithium battery that provides power to the device. Additionally, Axiotron II supports fully automated calibration and it can be connected to computers via USB or Ethernet. Altogether, ZEISS Axiotron II is an incredibly intuitive and powerful microscope system that provides a maximum magnification of 1000X, illuminated reticles for precision measurements, and fluorescence observation capabilities. It is the cutting-edge microscope of choice for medical researchers, labs, and other institutions who want the best in imaging performance.
