ZEISS Axiotron is an advanced inverted microscope system for biological or medical laboratories. Axiotron utilizes an innovative design for cost efficiency and improved user experience. This is supported by intelligent software such as a real-time full-field autofocus, fast live image acquisition and an intuitive user interface. ZEISS Axiotron's optics are sought after for their superior imaging quality, even in a variety of challenging conditions such as high-background illumination, vibrations and scattered light. The modular design of the microscope allows for easy expandability through a broad selection of objectives, condensers and other optical components. Axiotron is equipped with ZEISS Driven by Fluorescence (DBF™) technology, which is an integrated and comprehensive fluorescence detection system. It includes the use of fluorescent dyes and provides researchers with the ability to accurately capture and analyze multiple fluorescent channels. The DBF™ technology ensures fast and reliable image capture with lower levels of noise, allowing for accurate fluorescence analysis. ZEISS Axiotron is also integrated with a range of features which are optimized for use in a wide variety of research and observation tasks. These include a bright field detector, transmitted light detector and a combination bright/transmitted detector. Furthermore, an optional phase contrast detector helps to reveal subtle details by increasing contrast of materials with low contrast. Finally, Axiotron incorporates a robust and reliable design to ensure high sample throughput and provide protection for both the instrument and operators in highly demanding environments. It is equipped with an integrated, infection-proof filter cage, which minimizes airborne infections and cross contamination.
