ZEISS C400 DCC is an advanced compound microscope used for medical and research applications. It is equipped with motorized focus, motorized nosepiece and LED illumination, providing excellent control and flexibility for any microscopy task. C400 DCC is built on a robust and reliable mechanical design with a hexapod stand giving accurate focusing and stable image capture. The microscope features field-of-view, controlling the area of the specimen being observed, and zoom magnification from 20x to 1000x, factorially changing the magnification of the image using a variable speed stepper motor. The microscope is capable of sequence capture, allowing for timelapse recordings of the specimen. ZEISS C400 DCC is equipped with ZEISS objective lenses, providing different levels of magnifications, working distances and depths-of-focus. Its 5-position turret can accommodate up to 5 objective lenses, allowing for quick and easy switching. It is also compatible with phase-contrast, dark-field and oil-immersion objectives as well as infinity corrected tube lenses. To facilitate the imaging process, C400 DCC is equipped with a 10-megapixel digital camera with digital focus sensor, a bright LED built-in illumination system and digital zoom capability. A microscope specific software package is also included, allowing to capture video and images and to set image parameters such as shutter speed and exposure time. ZEISS C400 DCC also features a mechanical shutters for alternating fluorescence imaging, which eliminates cross-talk and allows for multi spectrum-based imaging. Other features include an integrated calibration grid and stage graduation, dedicated software for educational application, automated alignment of previously captured images, and a compatibility to export images and documents directly to a printer. Overall, C400 DCC is an advanced and user-friendly compound microscope capable of satisfying any microscopy task. Offering excellent performance and precision, as well as full control and flexibility, it is the preferred microscope for medical, research and educational applications.
