JONES & LAMSON / J&L EPIC 30 is a state-of-the-art optical comparator and projection measuring equipment designed by Jones and Lamson (J&L) for a variety of industrial and technical uses. The machine is powered by a high-torque DC servo motor with a high-resolution DRO digital readout unit, ensuring accurate, glass-smooth readouts and near-zero backlash movements. JONES & LAMSON EPIC 30's optics are first-rate as well, featuring an SZD-30 10x-50x precision zoom projection lens, along with a 12-½" diameter, low-distortion optical screen. This screen has a full 360-degree rotation capability and can quickly be raised, lowered, or angled to make the most of the available space. The highly efficient optical machine has up to 30x magnification capability, allowing for accurate measurement and analysis of even the smallest features, making it suitable for use in industries ranging from automotive to aerospace. Finally, EPIC 30 also features an integrated best-fit edge detection edge detector, which works in tandem with other in-built features to provide the highest possible accuracy. User-friendly interface controls and an optional Ethernet connection make this an incredibly flexible machine that can be tailored to a wide range of measuring tasks.
