NIKON V-12BS is an optical comparator designed with accuracy, reliability, and speed in mind. It is designed particularly for inspecting intricate shapes, recesses, draft angles, external threads, tires and more. It offers excellent pattern recognition capabilities, advanced image processing technology, and up to 40x magnification. V-12BS features a large work table measuring at 21.3" by 11.8" that can be controlled manually, fully motorized or both. The X and Y axis moves range from 0 to 24", with a high resolution digital encoder providing reliable linear positioning. It also has a 2-Axis Digital Readout (DRO) that measures 0.0005mm accuracy. NIKON V-12BS is equipped with a TTL projection lens featuring an aplanatic lens design for superior image quality. It offers a 12.7" diameter circle with a 200mm working distance and also has a projection lens system equipped with a 45mm diameter long working distance. V-12BS is also equipped with 8-in-1 imaging capabilities and an integrated graphical interface. The 8-in-1 imaging combines several advanced technologies in order to produce various effects such as; edge sharpening, contrast enhancement, blur, anti-contour, gamma correction, image merging, color correction, and automated focus adjustment. NIKON V-12BS is powered by NIKON world-renowned CNC Image Processing Unit (IPU). The IPU uses computer vision technology to enable precise control and inspection. The IPU consists of three components; an image processing processor (IPP), a camera, and a CPU. The imaging processor computes image intensities, encodes images, and runs calculation-intensive algorithms. The camera captures the work piece and enables magnification. The CPU is responsible for handling all the data that the IPU absorbs in order to make decisions. Operator usability is a key feature of V-12BS. All the control knobs and buttons are ergonomically placed. This makes navigation quite easy during long inspection runs, as the job can be completed without having to look away from the image on the screen. NIKON V-12BS also offers software packages for data storage, analysis, and reporting. It is equipped with a powerful imaging engine and an intuitive graphical platform that allows for quick and easy operation. To sum up, V-12BS is a highly adaptable and incredibly powerful optical comparator. It has been designed with speed and accuracy in mind, while also offering top-class user control and transferability of data. With built-in image processing and 8-in-1 imaging capabilities, NIKON V-12BS offers exceptional shape and dimension recognition and an unbeatable level of flexibility.
