ABW SYSTEMS / MANIX TT5C is a multi-purpose oven/furnace designed for use in applications ranging from general laboratory testing to high-temperature applications in industry. The oven/furnace features a heating chamber that is electrically insulated with fiberboard and ceramic fiber insulation and is capable of operating up to 2,000° F (1,093° C). MANIX TT5C includes a stainless steel interior skin and a cast refractory hearth plate. The chamber size allows the use of up to 6" x 6" (15 cm x 15 cm) specimens or processing trays. ABW SYSTEMS TT5C features a built-in Digital-Touch-Control (DTC) system with an easy-to-read large LCD display. It has alarm indicator lights and audible alarms for over-temperature and other functions, as well as a key lock-out feature for safety. Temperature is regulated with a refined digital control system and is adjustable from ambient to 2,000° F (1,093° C). The DTC's PID control provides temperature uniformity within ± 5°F (± 2.8°C) at 1000°F (538°C) with ramp/ soak programming. The DTC also records and displays program and process variables on demand. TT5C is equipped with advanced safe guards such as a top-mounted cooling fan and side air intakes to reduce the temperature of the chamber walls and prevent overheating during laboratory or industrial use. The furnace contains a large heat-resistant single-wall glass window in the front panel to allow viewing of the processed specimen without interrupting the process. A heavy-duty steel case and double-walled fire brick lined walls for maximum insulation and efficiency.
