The blueM BLUE M DCC 206C oven/furnace is a convection oven designed for uniform, repeatable, and precise heat processing of high temperature applications. BLUE M DCC-206C is a forced convection oven and offers an extended process chamber size - 80 liters - and a maximum process temperature capacity of 1150°C. The uniformity of temperature distribution within the process chamber is enabled by the air changes through the fan system and the multiple external temperature sensors. This fan system exchanges and modulates air in the process chamber at designated rates, resulting in a greater uniformity of the final heat leveled processed sample. Additionally, the fan speed, temperature and cycle are programmable and accurate to 0.1°C. The construction of the oven/furnace is robust and is made of high-quality insulated walls that ensure safe and regulated operation. This construction also minimizes energy loss, providing users with an efficient and reliable heat treatment. The oven features a digital PID multi-stage programmer, featuring a large LCD display with a fully functional keyboard to enter, display and store information regarding set points, cycles and data logged information. Moreover, its heating elements are designed for longevity and multiple temperatures are monitored through highly accurate platinum resistance thermometers. DCC 206C is equipped with a reliable safety device which protects against extreme temperature excursions, upper and lower limits of temperature, over-temperature and fails bellows. For ease of service and maintenance, there is good access to many of the internals including the heating element and the thermocouple. The oven/furnace is easy to use, requires low maintenance and provides a safe and consistent heat processing solution. It is suitable for many high-temperature applications such as annealing and tempering processes, sintering, carburizing and aging tests.
