CARBOLITE LHT 4/60 is a high temperature laboratory oven or furnace developed by Carborundum Universal Ltd. It is designed for use in high temperature applications up to 1600 °C. The furnace is equipped with a 3 phase electric heating system delivering controlled and uniform heat within the work chamber. It is built with a robust and stable body to ensure reliable performance and efficient insulation to ensure the most accurate temperature uniformity. The internal dimensions of the work chamber are four hundred and sixty millimeters (height) by five hundred and sixty-five millimeters (width) by four hundred and eighty-seven millimeters (depth). The furnace is provided with two programmable control zones, namely the upper and lower zone. Each zone is provided with separate temperature control, over-temperature protection and diagnostic features. Control is provided by a 5" color touch-screen controller which will allow users to set and check parameters as well as manage data and recipe programs for multiple users. The heating system of CARBOLITE LHT 4/60 is composed of specially designed ceramic elements and cooling fans which guarantees stability in temperatures. Different types of heating profiles such as step temperatures, delaying time, alarm temperature are supported. The cooling fan features a stepless speed control. It facilitates to maintain a uniform temperature in the working chamber. The exhaust heat extracted from the working chamber is discharged out from the top of the furnace. An inlet connection connected to the exhauster piping is also available. Various optional accessories can be included with the furnace for enhanced convenience. These includes high pressure exhaust filter, fast cooling system, cube loader, oven exhaust filter, graphite planetary rotor, etc. The furnace can be used in a wide variety of applications, including research & development, industrial labs and pilot plants, ceramics, high-temperature metallurgy, polymer synthesis and in education.
