DESPATCH LAC 1-42-3 is a universal industrial oven/furnace designed for a variety of heat treatment processes. It features a wide chamber, excellent temperature uniformity, and superior process control. The outer body construction of the oven consists of a fully welded mild steel frame. It contains two overlapping, roll-in air jackets that protect a 4" insulated chamber, providing it with superior heat retention. From the air jackets, air is forcefully riveted onto the chamber in order to provide uniform temperature throughout the process. The air gap between the two air jackets also works to mitigate heat loss during the heating process. The chamber is equipped with an adjustable door latch system that allows for easy access into the oven. The air gap between the two air jackets can be monitored by an adjustable sight glass while the self-adjusting latch allows for easy opening and closing of the chamber. The LAC 1-42-3 features an interchangeable internal atmosphere. It contains a high-powered, forced air circulation system which provides a reliable and powerful convection capability. An adjustable heating element, ranging from 500°F - 1500°F (260°C - 815°C) offers maximum temperature flexibility for most applications. An interior fan provides air circulation within the chamber. The oven also includes digital programmable controllers, enabling pre-set temperature ramps and process hold times. High/Low temperature alarms are also included to provide extra protection during the heating process. DESPATCH LAC 1-42-3 is a versatile, reliable, and efficient oven built to meet the rigorous demands of most industrial heat treatment processes. It is suitable for MIM, sintering, tempering/annealing, preheating, and aging operations. This oven is also easily integrated into automated production lines, providing excellent temperature uniformity over a wide processing range.
