PRECISION SCIENTIFIC Thelco is an oven/furnace designed for use in laboratories, production facilities, universities, and industrial research applications. This oven/furnace offers standardized laboratory temperature control and reliability. It is constructed from heavy-gauge galvanized steel, coated with a high-temperature black enamel, and equipped with two 4-1/4" thick Type 304 stainless-steel interior walls. The interior dimensions of these ovens and furnaces measure 18"w x 18"d x 26"h for the basic model, and up to 48" wide, 36" deep and 72" high for the bigger models. The ovens and furnaces come with precision temperature regulation, where the temperature accuracy is maintained up to ±0.5 deg C. The temperature range is available from 0-517 deg C with the use of Type K thermocouples. Furthermore, the maximum uniformity of temperature inside the chamber is ±1 deg C. Heating elements are made of mild steel flat bars that are adjustable to provide a more even temperature distribution. The oven/furnace has an advanced PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) temperature controller with an adjustable cycle time of 1-9 minutes, with a sensing range up to 1,000 deg C. The safety features of the oven include a thermoelectric low-limit switch to provide adjustable shut off in case of a temperature emergency. The overtemperature limit is adjustable from 95-500 deg C. The loading trays of Thelco oven and furnace are galvanized steel with a non-stick coating. The exterior of the oven is equipped with a fan to cool its outside surface. In addition, it is also equipped with an easy to read, illuminated digital timer to provide a consistent heating and cooling cycle. The graphs and data on the oven/furnace's controller can be stored in a secure memory module. PRECISION SCIENTIFIC Thelco oven and furnace come with an efficient electromechanical design and is UL listed. It is designed to last with minimal maintenance and can easily be cleaned with a damp rag.
