PMS LASAIR II 110 is a low cost particle counter which can be used to measure the concentration and size distribution of airborne particles. It is designed for both environmental and industrial applications and is trusted for its accuracy and reliability. LASAIR II 110 uses laser light scattering for particle sizing. A sample of air is drawn into the instrument and passed through a laser beam of light. Particles of different sizes will scatter the laser beam differently and these differences are measured to determine the size of the particles in the air. Once the size distribution has been measured, the instrument can calculate the particle concentration in the sample. PMS LASAIR II 110 can measure particles in the size range 0.3 to 10 microns (μm). It features a digital display to show measurement results, and is capable of storing large datasets for investigations and experiments. This particle counter has a flow rate of 1.0 Litre per minute (LPM), and can provide results with an accuracy of +/- 5%. It meets EN15267-3 and NAS1638 classifications for aerosol particle sampling. The instrument is easy to operate; with a single touch a user can configure the sampling rate and sampling volume. The instrument also has a built-in communication service which allows it to connect directly to a network device, or to be connected to a computer for further data analysis. Several communication protocols are available, including RS232 and Ethernet. LASAIR II 110 is lightweight and compact, making it very easy to transport.
