SAKI BF-Sirius is a computer-aided pc board assembly and manufacturing equipment designed for mass production. The system provides a set of tools for the automated assembly of pc board parts, such as surface mount devices (SMDs), through-hole components, connectors and other assemblable parts. Using its automated processes, the unit performs all processes from selecting, loading and placing of parts to soldering, defect inspection, and end-product testing. These machines include: * SMT machines - automated machines which place surface mount parts on the pc board. * Pick-and-Place machines - automated machines that pick parts up from their respective storage reel and place them on the pc board. * Selective Soldering machines - automated machines that perform soldering operation on parts that require it. * Solder Paste printers - specialized automated machines which apply a layer of solder paste on the pc board required for soldering SMDs. * AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) - an automated machine that inspects the pc board in order to detect any manufacturing defects. * ATE (Automated Test Equipment) - automated machines that carries out quality control testing on the finished board in order to detect any malfunctions caused by the assembly operation. The tool also comes with a set of powerful software tools, which provide the necessary control to execute the assembly operations, analyze and record the results and provide dynamic visualizations to the operator. This software platform also provides tools to modify the existing assembly operations and to create new ones as needed.
