SIEMENS Siplace D4 is a state-of-the-art, PC board assembly and manufacturing equipment designed for high-volume production. It represents a major step forward in the advancement of production line automation, offering increased speed and accuracy in the placement and mounting of components. The system features a high speed, 4-gantry SMD (Surface Mount Device) pick and place unit, capable of 6,161CpH (components-per-hour) rates and speeds of up to 1,470mm/s. This is complemented by a highly flexible flexible Table Top conveyor and the industry-leading Siplace D4 3D vision machine that enables accurate placement on components, even at high speeds. SIEMENS Siplace D4 boasts a distinctive, ergonomic design, that allows operators quick and easy access to the tool. It is equipped with a large, colour touchscreen, that is intuitively operated by using pre-built apps, and its user-friendly software enables operators to quickly select processing parameters. Siplace D4 is also capable of working with a wide range of components, it accepting part sizes ranging anywhere from a 0201 (metric 0.50 x 0.25 mm) in line/space to a 40 x 40mm Chip-on-Board (COB). The Pick-and-Place head gives it a wide pick-up range of up to 40mm, with standard vacuum pick-up for components of all sizes, making it ideal for assembling small as well as large-scale devices. SIEMENS Siplace D4 comes with a state-of-the-art OCR Barcode reader that quickly and accurately captures the components' information, and an optional Electronic Feeder (EFA) that offers component flexibility and feeder diversity.
