SIEMENS Siplace F5 HM is a high-speed, high-precision pc board assembly and manufacturing equipment designed for quickly and accurately creating pc board assemblies. It is ideal for manufacturing medium to high-volume, high-quality pc board assemblies. The system features a light and rigid mechanical design, a Windows-based visual control unit, and a modular feeder lineup that can be tailored to each application. Its five tool heads, including a pick-and-place head, a chip-on-tip vision head (COTV), and three special tool heads, allow for simultaneous high-speed assembly and inspection. Siplace F5 HM has a fast cycle time of 0.4 seconds for a single component placement, and a maximum acceleration of 1.9G for quick, accurate movements. Its sophisticated motion control technology ensures consistent handling of parts, reducing errors and streamlining the assembly process. Its pick-and-place head can handle components with a maximum weight of 28g, with a placement accuracy of ±(50μm + 2% x C). The machine also features advanced automatic components recognition (ACR) technology, which utilizes integrated bar-code recognition, off-line programmers, optical inspection, and automatic misalignment correction to ensure precision placement and inspection of components. It also uses integrated feeder sensors to accurately detect component movements and placement in real-time. For reliable part supply, the tool can accommodate up to 48 8x2mm feeders and can use up to 2 tapes for long components. It is also possible to switch between feeders and/or tape sticks in just a few seconds without disrupting the process.
