TECHNICAL DEVICES Nu / Clean Poly SMT 624 is a PC Board assembly and manufacturing equipment designed to produce quick-turn prototypes and production lots of through-hole and surface-mount components. This system consists of three major components: a PC Board assembly and manufacturing station, an automated surface mount stencil printer, and a reflow oven. The PC Board assembly and manufacturing station features a 130 station semi-automatic pick and place assembly with a camera-based 3-D robotic vision unit and optional dual vision machine. This allows for high accuracy placement, and the vision tool is fully configurable for a wide range of part types and sizes. The asset is fully compatible with lead-free and RoHS compliant components. The automated SMT model allows for quick setup and run of single, double and multi-page stencils. It also features multi-process plate loading, vacuum extraction, compensation technology and pocket vision. All of these features provide users with high precision and cleanliness during the SMT process. The reflow oven has two zones and is designed with low pressure preheating and three-stage temperature profiles. It is capable of soldering a wide variety of components, and programmed parameters are easily adjustable. Additionally, it has a temperature alarm equipment for controlled Environmental Health and Safety. Nu / Clean Poly SMT 624 combines the best of both worlds of PC Board assembly and manufacturing. It offers quick-turn prototype and production lots for through-hole and surface-mount components and is suitable for lead-free and RoHS compliant parts.
