YAMAHA YSM20-2 is a PC Board assembly and manufacturing equipment, designed to automate the processes of assembling and manufacturing the components necessary for constructing printed circuit boards. YSM20-2 utilizes a 22 feeder design, allowing it to handle a variety of components, including chip components (C, SOP, PQFP, QFP and SOJ up to 4mm sq), SIP, SOT or SOIC, DIP, and a range of passives and discrete components. The unit is capable of handling component placement speeds up to 12,000 cph, and a component range of 0201 to 72mm sq. Equipped with two optical vision cameras, YAMAHA YSM20-2 can accurately place components onto a board with a 0.010" placement accuracy. It is also able to detect float, missed components, and position errors. Additionally, it is capable of multi-placement, double-sided placement, and side-by-side components. YSM20-2 employs several patented technologies to ensure that the components are accurately placed during the manufacturing process. Its Intelligent Fixture Recognition Machine (IFRS) ensures that only the correct components are placed on the board. The Intelligent Component Arrangement Stacking (ICAS) feature helps to ensure correct component height and alignment. The beam alignment technology allows for accurate part placement on the PCB with minimal height variance. The tool features a user-friendly control panel and menus. The integrated touchscreen panel and control buttons are used to interact with the asset, allowing operators to quickly and easily setup and adjust the parameters of the machine.
