ERSA ETS 250 is a printed circuit board (PCB) selective soldering machine. It is designed to rapidly solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards in an efficient and cost effective manner. ETS 250 uses two independently operated soldering nozzles; each equipped with a pneumatic mechanism that allows them to move both horizontally and vertically. When placed above a printed circuit board, the nozzles apply molten solder paste to fulfill the desired soldering. The nozzles can be preset to quickly move from one component to the other. Each nozzle is equipped with a temperature sensor that monitors the temperature of the solder paste and gives a signal to shut down the engine when it exceeds the set maximum value. The suspended feed line also allows extremely quick set-up times for job changes and should maintain the paste settings in the solder reserve for extended periods of time, which reduces maintenance requirements. The separated design eliminates a pull-up effect generated from the syringe of the paste cartridge which causes variation in the solder paste size and shape. ERSA ETS 250 also features a robust construction with a heavy steel frame, built-in safety features, adjustable machine-height control, adjustable-speed drive motors, and a user-friendly software controller for efficient operation. The dual soldering nozzle configuration provides a highly repeatable soldering process that will remain the same from changeover to changeover. Furthermore, the two nozzle design and integrated oscillation module enable ETS 250 to safely solder surface mounted components on either the top or bottom layer of a PCB. This enables users to solder various types of PCBs quickly and accurately, perfect for production operations. Crucially, ERSA ETS 250 comes with a comprehensive safety package that includes alarms, safety guards, emergency-stop buttons
