AGILENT / HP / HEWLETT-PACKARD / KEYSIGHT 6621A is a linear power supply designed to deliver up to 20 volts and 180 watt of output power. It is constructed from a rugged outer casing with a large LCD display screen and easy access to the various settings and controls. HP 6621A is a 5-digit, true rms, high-precision power supply with d.c. voltage and current measurement. AGILENT 6621A can be powered by either a 110V or 220V mains connection and automatically adjusts to the power source. It has programmable output voltage, current limit, and foldback so it can be used to test a wide range of electronic components and circuits. The large LCD display shows the output voltage, current level, and current limit settings at a glance. 6621A has a total of three output channels, two rated at 3.2A, and one at 15A. Each channel can be set to the desired current settings with a single knob. It is equipped with a remote sense feature which compensates for the voltage drop on a resistor when a large load is connected. This feature reduces errors in voltage measurements and improves the accuracy of readings. KEYSIGHT 6621A is also equipped with constant voltage/constant current modes, output control selections, voltage limit control and a 10-turn preset current control. In addition, HEWLETT-PACKARD 6621A is equipped with a set of safety features. These include over-voltage, over-power and over-temperature protectors. The unit is also equipped with a calibrated output sense feature which allows the current and voltage meter to display automatically the measured readings. An RS-232 interface and a parallel-trigger port provide extended remote control.
