AGILENT / HP / HEWLETT-PACKARD / KEYSIGHT E5071C is a high-performance, multi-channel network analyzer for measurements of frequency-domain characteristics of complex electronic networks. It is designed to be used in gigahertz-range applications, such as RF/microwave design and microwave components, for high-accuracy power measurements. HP E5071C is a high-precision vector network analyzer with multiple independent ports and a versatile range of measurement options for testing various RF signals in different networks. It offers measurement and analysis capabilities such as network parameter (s11, s21, s22) measurements, range calibration, scalar transmission (S parameters), scalar reflection measurements (reflection coefficient, impedance), device characterization, transducer measurements, stability circle, return loss, scattering parameters, harmonic balance, and more. AGILENT E5071C has a full-color touch-screen LCD display for ease of operation. The front panel is equipped with several convenient controls, menu buttons as well as several numerical keyboard entry positions. The rear panel has multiple BNC input/output ports, and a USB interface. KEYSIGHT E5071C is designed to simplify test set-up procedures to facilitate testing in the microwave engineering laboratory. The built-in software function performs connection switchover automatically using remote control based upon user-defined parameters. The HF Server is included, which provides remote communications for data collection, operation, and maintenance. HEWLETT-PACKARD E5071C has a wide dynamic range from 10 dB (typical) to 110 dB (maximum). The wide range of frequencies from 10 MHz to 8.5 GHz complies with the requirements for various types of non-RF signals. The appropriate scalar detectors, switching network, and calibration hardware are provided for each type of signal measurement. The signal input/output power is rated at -20 dBm max. at DC and 100kHz-3GHz, and -5 dBm max. above 3GHz. Maximum pulse power is 100W at 10kHz-10GHz. The output power is measured accurately via the four (4) port power meter using additional external power sensor. E5071C is an ideal instrument for a wide range of applications, such as IC component testing, high-speed Ethernet, automotive testing, and base station testing. It offers a high degree of reliability and accuracy in a wide range of frequencies. Its advanced automated measurements simplify test set-up procedure thus including significant time savings for RF/microwave design and component testing.
