VICOR VI-PF22 is a DC-DC power supply module designed for high-efficiency server, storage and networking applications. It is capable of delivering power up to 540W (14A @ 36V) with a 2U form factor. It has a wide input voltage range of 85-264VAC and can accommodate a range of features and options that meet system requirements. VI-PF22 uses a proprietary Power Factor Correction (PFC) solution with very low dynamic power loss to ensure higher efficiency. In addition, its high-frequency switching topology provides improved thermal performance compared to traditional linear designs, while offering superior EMI performance. VICOR VI-PF22 features a single hybrid potentiometer which allows for accurate voltage control (no jumpers) over the full output range when used with a signal generator. It also has a wide adjustment range for soft-start, OLS and remote sense capabilities. Additionally, this power supply can be programmed to automatically respond to various system-level events, including on/off, reset, PWROK, RPSDET and Power Good signal. VI-PF22 utilizes Power Factor Correction technology to achieve high efficiency levels of 94% from no load to full load. This allows the power supply to generate up to 5% more power than other power supplies with similar ratings. VICOR VI-PF22 also has built-in over-voltage, over-current and short-circuit protection to ensure reliable operation over a wide range of loads. VI-PF22 features a fully isolated package and 28V MAX absolute input voltage, making it ideal for data centers, telecommunications applications and other high input voltage environments. The power supply is also compliant with RoHS, Lead-Free and CE requirements. To increase MTBF, VICOR carefully screened parts and implemented a rigorous voltage, current and frequency test during manufacturing. VICOR VI-PF22 is 100% burn-in tested to guarantee high reliability and long service life.
