ACCRETECH / TSK UF 200 prober is an automated probing equipment used to obtain electrical characteristics of semiconductor wafers. The prober uses an advanced non-contact probe designed for ultra-precision measurement of resistivity, carrier mobility, gate voltage and breakdown voltage. TSK UF 200 prober is designed for ultra-precise measurement and is capable of detecting an acceleration of ±0.03 μm/s2, along with angular alignment accuracy of 1μm. The internal environment of the prober is maintained at a high pressure to reduce environmental effects on the wafers. The system also has a non-contact laser alignment unit which ensures wafer alignment. The prober is equipped with a single-axis manipulator arm, which is capable of moving the probe in two directions; one in the X-axis along with the Y-axis, and the other in the Z-axis. The precision of the prober is obtained by the use of an AC servo motor that ensures high speed and accuracy. ACCRETECH UF200 prober has a maximum probing speed of 0.3 μm/s and a maximum travel distance of 100 mm. The probe has a high-resolution non-contact tape feeder and a vacuum chuck that holds the wafers in place. The machine also includes automated probe exchange and a self-testing tool. The asset also includes an integrated data acquisition unit which has a wide array of features and capabilities, including a front-panel LCD display, sound and light alarm model, equipment monitoring and error checking, and real-time data analysis. The prober also features a library of stored data sequences, allowing for the setting and recalling of complex probe testing sequences. The prober is compatible with a variety of wafer sizes and types, and is also able to accommodate special wafers such as gold-plated wafers, as well as specialty shapes such as squares. ACCRETECH / TSK UF200 prober is a highly specialized system and is designed for precise production testing and automated data collection. This makes it ideally suited for industries requiring precision manufacturing of semiconductor devices.
