RUDOLPH PRVX4 prober makes use of a semiautomated probe station for easy adjustment and repeatable accuracy. It features an articulated arm with a moveable head and multiple sensors, including high-definition video cameras, multiple fiducial detectors, RF scanners, jack platforms, optical footprints, and many more. APPLIED PRECISION PRVX4 also uses a variety of probing devices and test heads, including epoxy dispense heads, metal dispensing heads, inkjet markers, conductive foil heads, non-contact heads, non-contact RF probes, high voltage calibration heads, and many more. PRVX4 prober also has an intuitive software suite, allowing for control over many aspects of the testing process. It features auto-calibration, test plans, and other management tools that allow for quick and error-free testing and process development. APPLIED PRECISION / RUDOLPH PRVX4 prober boasts impressive specifications with high throughput and repeatability. Its mechanical accuracy and linearity are as following: 0.4 μm moving resolution, < 1 μm repeatability, and between 0.04-2.5 μm linearity. Its environmental specifications are up to 80 dB attenuation between 30 Hz and 200 MHz in a 1 m chamber, as well as a temperature range of 60-80-degrees Celsius with < 0.3 degrees Celsius stability. The testing process is fully automated, as RUDOLPH PRVX4 prober can be provided with an edge detection system, allowing a more sensitive procedure. Further, the system also features automated nozzle needle exchange, nozzle cleaning, and automatic nozzle replacement.
