ELECTROGLAS 2001 is a high-end prober used for probing and testing integrated circuits. It is equipped with a high-resolution long-travel Gantry, 6-axis motorized stage, automatic self-alignment, and an advanced 200-micron true coaxial alignment equipment. 2001 is specifically designed to test microprocessors, DRAMs, SRAMs, VLSI circuits and other complex integrated circuits. ELECTROGLAS 2001 utilizes a Non-contact Laser Alignment system, which performs precision alignments quickly and accurately. The alignment unit automatically obtains accurate alignments in less than 15 minutes. The 6-Axis Motorized Stage allows controlled movement in the X, Y, & Z directions as well as rotation around the three axes providing the ultimate in flexible motion control. The probe station also features low thermal drift, single- or double-sided prober capabilities, and a full suite of measurement capabilities. The wide range of electronics testing capabilities of the prober includes D.C., A.C., digital and transient measurements. A touch probe for analog testing can be used for applications such as resistance, capacitance, inductance and voltage measurements. Resistance measurements as low as 0.1Ω with a resolution of 0.5mΩ up to 10A at 1ms/div can be made. The advanced 200-micron true coaxial alignment machine incorporates a Micro-Focus Tool enabled by precision draw-tube actuators coupled with a zoom microscope. This asset allows for the testing of small ICs and other miniature packages. In addition to its impressive prober capabilities, 2001 features an advanced software package for controlling prober operations and measurements. Featuring an easy to use graphical user interface and multiple analysis tools, it allows users to create custom tests and configurations.
