ELECTROGLAS 4080 is an advanced prober designed for the measurement of electrical parameters, such as resistance, capacitance, inductance and impedance. This highly accurate prober features an automated, multi-point temperature-compensated measurement equipment that is ideal for both qualitative and quantitative analysis of integrated circuits. The system consists of a main prober unit, consisting of an electron microscope, sample translator and several enclosures including a shell for safety from external elements. The electron microscope is capable of magnifying objects as small as 3 microns and providing detailed images of the sample overview. The sample translator moves the sample over the prober to pick up multiple points of data. It is available with XY and XYZ movement, allowing it to pick up two or three-dimensional measurements. The range of motion is ±OR +1mm in either direction and up to 1mm in height. The machine includes an automated temperature-compensated measurement tool that is capable of compensating for shifts in sample temperature due to environmental and environmental-caused sample changes. This asset features an internal thermistor and a self-calibrating model that compensates for temperature-induced errors. 4080 also features a self-calibrating load cell with a range of up to 15 microns. This helps to ensure accurate measurement results. The equipment is also capable of integrated parameter tuning for better measurement accuracy. The prober also has several external accessories which include a controller, a digital voltage source and an RTD (resistance temperature detector). The RTD can be placed at different points on the sample in order to provide a temperature reading, allowing the system to make necessary adjustments. The voltage source can be used to measure voltage across the sample, while the controller can be used to adjust the various parameters. ELECTROGLAS 4080 is designed to be easy to use and maintain, requiring minimal setup and calibration. It is also capable of using a variety of different probe heads to tailor the measurement process to the application. This makes it ideal for a wide range of applications across various industries, including aerospace, automotive, electronics and more.
