ELECTROGLAS / EG 2001X is a fully-automatic probing solution designed to efficiently test both analog and digital integrated circuits. The equipment offers a high degree of precision and accuracy, while the integrated design eliminates the need for manual probe manipulation and multiple probes. The 20001X is a large format system, having an overall height of 206cm, a full scan range of 500 x 500mm, and incorporates an integrated, high resolution CCD camera. The unit also features a three-axis manipulator machine which is used to precisely position the probe over the various nodes of the device under test. The XY motion is driven by a High-Speed Linear Motor and the Z-axis motion is provided by a Nippon-Pillar Driven Motor (NPM) with Micro-Z metrology.
