ELECTROGLAS / EG 4090u is a high-performance semiconductor prober designed to provide precise measurements and analysis of electrical, optical, and thermal characteristics of semiconductor wafers. The prober features an automated equipment of six independent motion axes for optimal accuracy and efficiency in probing. EG 4090u has a large work area, with a maximum XY travel range of 500mm x 500mm. The prober also has a spacious, air-purged enclosure to prevent contamination of the work area during operation. An optional temperature adjustment stage is available, which offers temperature ranges from 20°C to 150°C to support the highest precision and reliability in determining resistivity and capacitance values with unprecedented accuracy. ELECTROGLAS 4090 U offers an adjustable vision system, with a maximum magnification of 60x, an adjustable optical field of view, and a 3:2 aspect ratio of image capture. The high-resolution imaging unit enables the user to accurately measure critical parameters such as contact gaps, device sizes, and conductive paths. Built with a patented strain compensation machine, 4090 U utilizes multiple load cells to monitor load impact on the probe during compression and testing of device contacts. This tool also allows for automatic contact lifting during measurement, reducing pressure on the device and increasing accuracy of the results. ELECTROGLAS / EG 4090 U has an intuitive and intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) for easy control and operation that allows for quick setup and testing. The software supports a range of languages and platforms, enabling communication with CAD/CAM, EDA, and other programming packages. EG 4090 U is also compliant with a range of industry standards, including the Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Global Microelectronics Standard, Intel Common Design Interface Specification, and the LM76 International Standards Organization (ISO) Standard. It is widely used for testing a range of chip types and sizes, and is an ideal choice for testing-driven process development applications, such as automotive and consumer electronics.
