KARL SUSS / MICROTEC PA 150 is a high performance wafer probe station designed for wafer prober applications. It is equipped with an embedded controller, and intuitive software that provides fast and accurate measurements. The prober is capable of proding from 100µm to 300µm, with a pitch of 200µm for probing using Patterns. The upper stage of MICROTEC PA 150 is internally calibrated with a Mapping Laser, ensuring accuracy in the measurement of probe tips and device paths. The prober is equipped with x-y-z manual stages, with the capability to precisely move a wafer or substrates. The x stage can be configured to travel up to 370mm in the x-axis, while the y axis can reach as wide as 570mm, allowing for a variety of wafer sizes and configurations. It is also equipped with a high-speed scanning stage which moves at speeds up to 50mm/sec while maintaining MICROTEC superior accuracy and control. Its precise scanning capabilities are further supported by the onboard temperature stabilization system which maintains an even reduction in thermal expansion across the stages. The prober is capable of collecting data from single transistors or whole wafer measurements with high repeatability.
