RUCKER & KOLLS / R&K 682 is a Reliability and Maintenance Prober, made by leading industrial electronic testing and measuring company R&K. R&K 682 is designed for testing and monitoring of industrial control systems and components from many manufacturers. It has the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electronic control systems, analog and digital circuits, meters, sensors, and other assemblies. It is equipped with a powerful processor and a wide array of testing instruments, including a digital multimeter, digital voltage tester, an oscilloscope, a frequency counter, and a signal generator. RUCKER & KOLLS 682 Prober measures all four Voltages (AC,DC,True RMS and Max/Min Volts) and the Prober has a built-in continuity test which measures resistance values and alerts the user if a fault is found. The Prober can find faults in complex circuit systems by performing an interrupted return loop test. The Prober has multiple Universal Modular Jacks (UJ) allowing the user to connect, monitor, measure, and control devices via a single connection point. It also has integrated TPs (test points) to ensure accuracy and precision measurements. These features make 682 ideal for prober test where multiple connections need to be done at breakneck speed or where multiple circuit tests are required for success analysis in the laboratory. RUCKER & KOLLS / R&K 682 has a large display with back light that can easily display engineering diagrams and technical data. It also has a large navigation button, with a menu wheel, that allows intuitive navigation through different menus to quickly choose the required testing features. The Prober has an integrated data logging function, which allows the user to store the tested data points. The data can be downloaded and analyzed for failure analysis or for trend analysis in order to determine root cause of component failures, system malfunctions and design changes. The Prober includes a comprehensive set of calibration points that make traceability and accuracy easier than ever to ensure reliable measurements over time. Calibration points are provided for Voltage Control, Oscilloscope, Frequency Counter, Frequency and Amplitude of Oscillation, Volume, Converter and Adjustment Parameters. R&K 682 has a self-calibration feature and temperature sensors that enable the user to keep track of instrument accuracy and temperature compensation. Additionally, the included USB port allows easy connection to a PC for data logging, analysis, and firmware updates. In order to improve the service life and performance of the prober, a longterm maintenance package is offered. This package covers repair and recalibration, and provides the user with a hassle free experience.
