It utilizes advanced ADIXEN turbo-molecular pump technology for gas compression and pumping to achieve ultimate pressure of 15 x 10-8 mbar. ALCATEL Turbo-Molecular pumping technology employs a high speed rotor designed to disperse the gas molecules faster and efficiently. The high intensity laser beam entering the unit's acceleration zone delivers molecules through spiral openings, rotating and sending the molecules toward the stator. ADIXEN ATM 1600M features a two-stage rotor assembly that increases effectiveness for accelerated gas molecules. This combined with multi-axis balancing and digital feedback motor control ensure smooth running and long-term reliability. The pump also boasts a high number of rotor blades, contributing to faster exhaust flow and lower noise. PFEIFFER Quick-Exchange Rotor facilitates rapid pump re-installation without adjustment. ALCATEL ATM 1600M is equipped with several safety features, including a high volute pressure sensing valve and a differential pressure valve. The high volute pressure sensing valve monitors volute pressure to shut off the pump motor in case of pressure exceeds a pre-determined limit. The differential pressure valve senses the intake/discharge pipe pressure difference and turns the internal bypass valve in case of uncontrolled pressure changes.
