EDWARDS E2M1.5 Pump is a vacuum pump used for creating and maintaining vacuum in a variety of industrial applications. It is a two-stage oil sealed rotary vane pump designed for use with corrosive gases and vapours. It is constructed from tough components to ensure its longevity and reliability. It has a corrosion-resistant stainless steel body and a hard-coat anodised aluminium rotor which makes it robust and resistant to wear and tear. EDWARDS E2M1.5 is designed to deliver low ultimate pressures and high free air capacities. It has a pumping speed of 12CFM (cubic feet per minute) and is capable of achieving a maximum vacuum pressure of 15 micron. It also features a mechanical compression notched rotor, which allows the pump to operate at optimum performance and produce the highest levels of vacuum. The pump has a thermal protection cut-out switch which protects the unit in the case of a temperature increase inside the pump. In terms of connection types, EDWARDS E2M1.5 pump has an inlet side port with a standard KF25 connector as well as a M16x1.5 (metric) outlet side port. It runs on 230V single phase AC supply and has a nominal power consumption of 1.3kW. The pump is fully packaged and comes with a standard 1.5 meter (5ft) cable with an IEC320 plug. In terms of maintenance, the pump has an oil change interval of 500 working hours or 3-month intervals, whichever is sooner. It also has a built-in oil mist condenser which separates the oil mist from the exhaust and reduces running costs. The oil required for lubrication is an EDWARDS approved vacuum pump oil. Overall, EDWARDS E2M1.5 is a robust and reliable oil sealed rotary vane pump that is suitable for a variety of industrial applications. Its stainless steel body and hard-coat anodised aluminium rotor ensures its long-term durability while its low ultimate pressure and high free air capacity enables it to produce high levels of vacuum. The pump also features a mechanical compression notched rotor and an inbuilt oil mist condenser, allowing it to work optimally at any given time. It is also extremely easy to maintain and requires no special tools for servicing and maintenance.
