EDWARDS QDP40 is a medium sized, ultra-reliable, advanced multi-stage dry pump. Using its 300mbar ultimate pressure, EDWARDS QDP 40 is ideal for ultra-low vacuum applications such as Vacuum Furnace Processing, Vacuum Ovens, Inert & High Vacuum Degassing, along with high performance analytical systems. QDP40's direct-drive, three-stage rotary vane design is composed of two double-spiral flow channels that provide increased compression ratio over traditional four-stage and five-stage designs. QDP 40 is fitted with stainless steel construction throughout the mechanical design, and coupled with a single-stage inlet baffle to reduce dust generation, the pump yields excellent oil-free performance with extremely low noise characteristics. The low 0.9kW power consumption and motor control/protection functions further increase the pump's overall reliability. Designed around EDWARDS TMP-2000 Vacuum Controller, EDWARDS QDP40 provides numerous user-friendly features, such as adjustable speed control, preset operational mode, pressure measurement and logging and data storage up to 32 days. With its Predictive Maintenance System (PMS) features, EDWARDS QDP 40 alerts users of any potential faults, allowing for corrective action before the pump fails. QDP40 can operate in temperatures ranging from +5°C - +45°C and is certified to IEC 61010-1 up to and including Pollution Degree 2 (PD2). The large 25 liters/sec, 65 liters/min displacement ensures incredible uptime and long service life. This combined with the advanced vacuum technology, and the ability to monitor pump status via EDWARDS mobile app, makes QDP 40 ideal for environments which require high performance vacuum processing.
