Turbo pump.
EDWARDS STP-301CVB is a self-contained, direct-drive, oil-filled rotary vane pump which is designed to provide reliable, quiet and cost-effective pumping of air, methane, hydrogen, argon, nitrogen, oxygen and other non-corrosive gases. The pump is composed of a hermetically sealed aluminum cylinder, an oil sealed double sided motor, an exhaust silencer and an EDWARDS air vacuum inlet filter. The motor of STP-301CVB provides smooth and quiet rotational motion while the heavy-duty, oil filled bearing ensures long service life. The pump is fitted with a vacuum inlet filter that provides filtration of intake particles above 5 micron for clean suction and exhaust filters that collect particles larger than 0.3 microns from the exiting gas stream. EDWARDS STP-301CVB is mechanically simple and designed for reliable operation over a wide range of pressure and flow conditions, making it suitable for a variety of applications. Capable of operating between ATEX zone 1 and ATEX zone 2 gas groups, STP-301CVB is ideal for pumping toxic and hazardous gases. Able to reach a capacity of up to 4.2 m3/h (80 scfm), EDWARDS STP-301CVB has a maximum outlet pressure of 5.7 bar (85 psig) and delivers extremely high vacuum capabilities down to 1 x 10-3 mbar (70 inch Hg). STP-301CVB provides a safe, quiet and efficient alternative to larger reciprocating pumps and comes with protections against overloads, soft start, and short circuit monitoring. In addition, EDWARDS STP-301CVB is easily maintained thanks to its no-tools-required design and features a "no maintenance" design that allows it to be operated and serviced by minimally trained personnel. The pump is also efficient and energy saving due to its low power usage and a wide operating range. STP-301CVB is ideal for use in semiconductor and microelectronic fabrication, medical device production, vacuum furnaces, thin film coating, pharmaceutical and related applications.
