EDWARDS / VEECO QDP80 is a diaphragm pump designed for industrial and laboratories that require precise liquid pumping levels. This pump is highly accurate, reliable and efficient for the most demanding applications. It features a power head constructed of solid stainless steel for durability, and a precisely machined concentric diaphragm for smooth and consistent flow. VEECO QDP80 is a compact, lightweight and easy-to-use rotary-type pump. It is well suited for handling all kinds of liquids including acids, alkalis, corrosive chemicals, solvents and aqueous solutions. Additionally, EDWARDS QDP80 can be used to pump very fluid solutions, enabling accurate and repeatable delivery of several liters per minute without disturbing the solution's properties. The pump is offered in two different models: the Pressure Model QDP80-P and the Vacuum Model EDWARDS / VEECO QDP80-V. Both models feature a unique dual control system to maximize pumping accuracy and reliability. The Pressure Model VEECO QDP80-P is equipped with a pressure regulator and a dual-mode function which adjusts the pumping speed to obtain desired flow rate. On the other hand, the Vacuum Model EDWARDS QDP80-V features an adjustable vacuum regulator and a dual-mode function for faster and more accurate operation. QDP80 is designed with an inlet pressure capacity of up to 40 bars and suction capacity up to 28 mbar. It can pump up to 100 l/min with a maximum flow rate of up to 18 Nl/h. The maximum suction height of the pump is 4m and maximum discharge height is 3m. EDWARDS / VEECO QDP80 has a stated noise level of 60dBA. VEECO QDP80 also features a range of diagnostic features such as over-temperature protection and automatic control shut-off. The pump is equipped with a RS485 port to enable communications with remote computers or other systems. It also has an optional HART communication system interface that allows connection with a SCADA system.
