HVA 11211-0601X-001 is an axial piston pump designed for medium and high pressure hydraulic systems with a peak pressure up to 350 bar. It is a swash plate type hydraulic pump, which consists of several cylinders fitted parallel to the swash plate, allowing axial flow of the fluid. The swash plate is a disc-shaped plate that can be tilted from a flat position to an angled position, allowing the low-pressure return fluid to escape from the housing. The cylindrical pistons are connected to the plate, and rotate in response to the angle of the swash plate. When the pistons rotate, they cause the fluid to fill or exit the cylindrical chambers, depending on the direction of rotation of the pistons. This continuously changing flow of fluid creates a variable pressure that is proportional to the angle of the swash plate. 11211-0601X-001 is an all-aluminum construction pump with a 9.3 in3 per revolution displacement and a maximum speed of 4,500 RPM. The pump has an 8-tooth spline drive shaft and a rear mounted SAE A 4- bolt flange allowing for easy coupling to the drive train.
