PFEIFFER DUO 100 is a direct-drive double-stage pumping unit, with a main chamber capacity of 200-500 l/s and a pumping speed of 110-450 l/s. The design of the pump is based on the principle of axial flow compression (specifically twin turbo-molecular flow), which can provide a high pumping speed for small- to medium-sized chamber. The cold parts of the pump incorporate a single inner rotor with two blades rotating at a rate of between 150,000 and 600,000 rpm.
