This pump offers superior performance in processing of a range of applications such as assemblies, research and development, sample introduction conditions and other demanding applications. BALZERS HiPace 300 features a double stage, three phase, single frequency turbo-molecular pump design. This design enables high ultimate vacuum performance with superior compression ratios when compared to traditional two stage, single frequency pumps. PFEIFFER HiPace 300 also offers excellent durability and reliability, with a minimised start-up energy requirement which reduces total cost of ownership. HiPace 300 uses a combination nozzle as well as support rods to reduce gas leakage and increase operational life. This, combined with an aluminium vacuum head for contamination control, gives PFEIFFER / BALZERS HiPace 300 the ability to work continuously in continuous and pulsed mode without issue. The nozzle assembly also uses a patented Hermetic Seal technology to reduce maintenance costs and downtime. BALZERS HiPace 300 has an integrated control unit which allows real-time monitoring of gas flow and diagnostics, as well as control parameters. This pump is designed to run with pre-set parameters that require minimal adjustment and can be controlled remotely via a dedicated interface. PFEIFFER HiPace 300 features a number of additional features, including an air-ring that reduces ultimate pressure and a turbo-compound lubrication system, which ensures optimum bearing performance over the life of the pump.
