PFEIFFER / BALZERS TMH 1601P is a roughing, turbo molecular pump capable of pumping a high throughput of up to 1,633 l/h of air. BALZERS TMH 1601P operates at an extremely atmospheric pressure differential of 50mbar, allowing for rapid evacuation of an enclosure without cooling or other auxiliary gas systems. The high-efficiency, low-vibration operation of PFEIFFER TMH 1601P also makes it suitable for use in a variety of high-vacuum, closed-room, or cryogenic environments. TMH 1601P is a turbo-molecular pump consisting of two high-powered motor-driven impellers. The impellers are designed to function via alternating centrifugal and radial thrusts to create both low-pressure and high-pressure pumping actions. The motor-driven impellers rotate at speeds up to 35,000 RPM, providing high enough compression ratio to create a high-throughput vacuum within a short time frame. Additionally, the high-speed impellers reduce the noise created by the pump, allowing for quiet operation.
