PFEIFFER / BALZERS TPU 240 is a rotary vane pump ideal for use in high reliability vacuum systems. It features a self-adjusting vane equipment with partial vacuum servo-controlled oil recirculation in order to ensure long service life and excellent performance. This two-stage oil sealed rotary vane pump has a pumping speed of 270 l/s and a ultimate pressure of 8 x 10^-3 mbar. It operates at an operating temperature range between 10-50° C with an oil filling capacity of 0.97 L. BALZERS TPU 240 has a chemically resistant mechanical seal with a total of 5 separate seals ensuring reliable operation. Additionally, the pump has an integrated oil mist separator providing an effective oil filtering performance which guarantees clean measured vacuum system. PFEIFFER TPU 240 is easy to install and can be connected to a range of vacuum unit including exhausts, boiler systems, condensers and refrigerators traps. It is equipped with a built-in calibration machine having adjustable valves and an integrated controller allowing it to be programmed for remote operation.
