WELCH 1402 Pump is a laboratory-grade rotary vane pump that is designed for sample preparation tasks in a variety of industrial uses. It can pressurize samples up to 10 psi above atmospheric pressure and 34 psi above atmospheric pressure without surging or cavitation. WELCH 1402 offers low-pulsation pumping and durability for continuous use without requiring periodic maintenance. Its vacuum range is 0.05 to 0.35 Torr, ultimate pressure is 1.3 x 10-2 Torr and compression ration is 47.7:1. It has a displacement rate of 10 liters per minute at 60Hz (US) or 8.5 liters per minute at 50Hz (international) with an inlet connection of 90mm ISO160 nozzle on the fore pump. The pump itself is equipped with a cooling fan which extends its working life and prevents overheating. Furthermore, the motor can be ordered in either 220 or 230 Volt versions. 1402 also uses external filtration for longer life and improved maintenance. Additionally, the motor has an adjustable speed drive which allows manual control of the pumping rate, up to 200ml per minute, for minimizing imbalancing when processing multiple samples.
